TEQUILA&MEZCAL

It is a MEXICO DRINK produced by first fermenting and then distilling the "BLUE agave" plant, named after Tequila, a town in the state of Jalisco. There are 4 varieties: Blanco, Reposado, Anejo and Ultra Anejo.

MEZCAL

The national drink of Mexico is known as "Mezcal". Mezcal can be made from different Agave species, but Tequila is made only from the Blue Agave species.

BLANCO / SILVER / PLATA TEQUILA

The names Blanco, Plata, White or Silver are used. It is colorless. It is usually bottled immediately after distillation. It can be aged for a maximum of two months in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels that will not discolour.
