Ron Zacapa Solera 23 (Guatemala, 40% abv)

It is a rum that is distilled in copper column stills and then matured in Bourbon and Pedro Ximenez Sherry barrels in warehouses located at an altitude of 2300 meters above sea level in Guatemala.

Ron Zacapa 23, matured with the traditional Solera system that we are used to seeing in sherry wine, consists of a blend of rums aged between 6 and 23 years.

Nose: Vanilla, honey, chocolate, caramel, almond and tobacco. The spice and woody character from the oak is very evident. Intense and aromatic.

Palate: Very sweet on the palate as well as on the nose. Dried apricots, brown sugar, vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon and oak. It is quite plump and soft.

Finish: Long, full-bodied and liquorish.
