Mesopotamia is where beer was first produced. According to a rumor, it was obtained as a result of barley breeding efforts to produce bread in Egypt. Although the accuracy of this information has not been proven, it is known that the workers working in the construction of the pyramids received their payment in beer.

Beer, which is basically divided into two types: ALE and LAGER, has thousands of varieties in different styles.

Ale, the traditional production method of beer; It is produced by fermenting the mixture in the tank from the top. Ale, which is medium alcoholic, hard, sharp and dense in consistency, is seen in Irish, Scottish and English beers. Sub-varieties of Ale;

Barley Wine- Bitter- Brown Ale- India Pale Ale- Pale Ale- Portar- Stout- Wheat Beer

Ales, which are highly fermented beer types, may contain fruit flavors and aromas. It is ideal to drink it between 7-12 degrees.

Beers produced by cooling, bottom fermentation and resting method are called Lager. Compared to Lager Ale, it is less alcoholic, lighter in taste and yellow in color. Sub-varieties of Lager;

Bock – Dunkel- Maerzen- Pilsener

Lager is less fermented. Its taste is smooth and light, and its aroma is balanced. It is ideal to consume them between 3-7 degrees.
